आधिकारिक जानकारी के अनुसार NTPC के पतरातू सुपर थर्मल पावर प्रोजेक्ट के 800 MW वाले यूनिट-2 ने सभी स्वीकृत प्रदर्शन मानकों को पूरा करने के बाद सफलतापूर्वक अपना ट्रायल ऑपरेशन समाप्त कर लिया है। अब इस यूनिट को NTPC कंपनी की स्थापित क्षमता में औपचारिक रूप से शामिल कर लिया गया है। इस नई उपलब्धि के साथ NTPC ग्रुप की कुल स्थापित विद्युत उत्पादन क्षमता 90,668 मेगावाट हो गई है जो ऐतिहासिक 90 गीगावाट के आंकड़े को पार कर गई है।
मुख्य बातें:
- यूनिट-1 ने नवंबर 2025 में कमर्शियल प्रोडक्शन शुरू कर दिया था।
- यूनिट-2 मार्च 2026 में फुल लोड पर पहुंचा और हाल ही में (11-18 मई 2026 के आसपास) ट्रायल ऑपरेशन सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया।
- इस परियोजना का Phase-I कुल 3×800 MW क्षमता का लक्ष्य रखता है।

As per the official information, NTPC's Patratu Thermal Power Plant (PVUNL) - Unit-2 of the 800 MW successfully completed its trial operations after achieving all approved performance norms and necessary clearances. The unit has now been formally included in the installed capacity of NTPC Limited. This development takes the NTPC Group’s total installed power generation capacity to 90,668 MW, crossing the historic 90 GW mark.
Key Highlights:
- Unit 1 began commercial production in November 2025.
- Unit 2 reached full load in March 2026 and recently (around May 11-18, 2026) successfully completed trial operations.
